About Yujeong

Hello! I'm Yujeong.
I have a deep interest in languages and cultures. I’m a native Korean speaker and speak in English, Japanese (upper beginner), and currently, I'm learning French.

I hold a Korean language teaching certification and have been teaching Korean online for 4 years. Before becoming a Korean tutor, I studied law in Korea. However, through my studies, I realized that the world is much bigger than just sitting at a desk and working all my life. That’s when I decided to go on a working holiday in Canada. Despite the challenges of learning English, I worked hard and eventually became a casino dealer. Thanks to that experience, I gained the courage to live in Malta and Portugal, and now I’m teaching Korean in France.

I have diverse interests! I’m a vegetarian who loves healthy cooking, and my favorite sport is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I also enjoy language learning, indoor rock climbing, yoga, meditation, drawing, and playing the piano. One of the great things about my classes is that you can learn about languages and cultures from all over the world, not just Korea. My various hobbies help me connect with students on different topics, and I’m always happy to listen to your stories.

She is very enthusiastic and actively participates in every class. She does a great job applying what she’s learned and skillfully connects it with her existing knowledge. While many adult learners struggle with pronouncing vowels like ㅓ and ㅡ, she is already making noticeable progress in correcting them. If she continues learning Korean consistently, I believe she’ll be able to read Hangul naturally within just a month.
