About Siobhan
Hi guys!
My name is Siobhan, and I'd love to be your new tutor. Trust me when I say, I know math may not be your favorite subject.
I'll let you in on a little secret: You are not alone.
I get it. Math can be a bit challenging, BUT maybe it doesn't have to be. What if I told you, you just haven't found the right tool yet?
Imagine trying to eat cereal with a fork... definitely not helpful, right? Well math is ALL about tools and sometimes you just have to find the one that works for you.
I've been tutoring for over 20 years now and in all that time, I haven't had one student disagree with me yet.
Having tutored for so long, I've been able to test out all the different ways of teaching, figuring out what works and what doesn't, and up to now, I have perfected the system.
Not only is it fun and easy, it's designed to guarantee great results and ensure your inevitable success.
So, if you're looking for some extra help and would like to try something different, stick with me, and I promise we'll get you back up to speed, and maybe, even ignite a new appreciation for MATH.

So first thing's first!
Where can my student comfortably and confidently solve math problems on their own?
Once I see where they're at, we start from THERE.
Math's the kind of thing that keeps evolving as you go, so I like to be sure my students understand the material before moving on.
Theory, notes, exercise problems, and finally practice, practice, practice.
I help my students build the confidence they need by showing them the proper tools and techniques to solve each problem.
With enough time, they not only feel confident enough to tackle the problems on their own, but they begin believing in themselves and realizing how much fun it can actually be when given the proper tools and strategies.
Sessions are geared towards kids and teens looking for homework help, class review, extra practice, or test prep.
