About Kristin

Hi! I’m a literacy specialist with over 16 years of experience in education, working with students in elementary, middle, and high school. I hold a Master’s degree in Remedial Reading from Southern Connecticut State University and a Post-Master’s Certification as a Kindergarten - 12th grade Reading Consultant. I am passionate about helping students become confident, successful readers.

My approach is patient, engaging, and personalized to each student’s unique needs. Whether a student needs support with foundational reading skills, fluency, decoding, comprehension, or advanced literacy strategies, I use evidence-based instruction to help them make meaningful progress while building confidence and a lifelong love of reading.

I believe every student can succeed with the right support, and I look forward to helping each learner reach their full potential.
