About Tina
I am already a teacher and have been for over a decade.. I have also tutored in my spare time here and there,, whether they were my own students or not. One thing I have heard most, from principals to students, I have a way of explaining, and it tends to stick. I also like utilizing tools to help. I make kids question the problem, what is it really asking. I used to hate word problems until I realized what the words were telling me. Now, I can help others do the same.

I'm told I just have a way of explaining things. I don't just say how, I like to show why in math. When I show why, more knowledge connects. Sometimes we just need to see the reason of why we do things and then it makes sense. I have various strategies to help students remember.
