About Michael

Hello! My name is Michael, and I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Supply Chain Management. I’m passionate about helping students develop a stronger understanding of math and the confidence to succeed in the classroom.

As a high school math teacher, I teach Algebra 2 and Geometry, and I understand the challenges students face when learning new mathematical concepts. I know that math can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking down difficult problems into smaller, easier-to-understand steps.

My tutoring approach is patient, supportive, and personalized. I encourage students to ask questions, learn from their mistakes, and develop problem-solving skills they can use independently. My goal is to help students understand the material rather than simply memorize formulas or procedures.

I tutor Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Whether a student needs help with homework, wants to prepare for an upcoming exam, or needs to strengthen their foundation in math, I’m happy to help.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy staying active and finding opportunities to continue learning and growing. I look forward to helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and reach their academic goals!

My lessons are designed to help students understand math, build confidence, and become more independent problem-solvers. I specialize in Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2, and I understand that every student learns differently.

I break down challenging concepts into simple, manageable steps and use clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice to help students understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the process works.

During our sessions, we can focus on homework help, reviewing classroom material, preparing for quizzes and exams, strengthening foundational skills, or catching up on topics that have been difficult. I adjust each lesson to the student’s individual needs, learning pace, and academic goals.

My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and developing the confidence to tackle math problems on their own.
