I’m an optimistic, enthusiastic math teacher who genuinely loves helping students learn. I bring a smile, a good sense of humor, and a supportive presence to every session — and I enjoy connecting with learners of all ages.
But above all, I’m here to help you grow. We’ll absolutely enjoy our time together, yet the heart of each session is focused, personalized learning. I’ve spent over 20 years working across every part of math education — from writing curriculum and developing problem sets, to aligning content with state and Common Core Standards, to mentoring teachers on best practices. That experience helps me break down concepts clearly, anticipate common struggles, and create a learning environment where students feel supported, capable, and proud of their progress.

I love discovering what works best for each individual learner and building our lessons around their strengths. Every student learns differently, and I take the time to understand how you think so we can make math feel clear, manageable, and even enjoyable.
I know that mastering math skills can sometimes feel frustrating or discouraging. My goal is to help you feel supported, capable, and confident as you grow.
