About Makayla
I am a senior at Central Connecticut State University where I am studying secondary mathematics education. I will be student teaching in the fall and graduating in the spring. I have done over 100 hours of field work in middle and high schools working with students in math.

My teaching method is to connect concepts with skills already learned and mastered. I don’t give students answers, but I ask students questions in order for them to arrive at the correct answer. Students shouldn’t be discouraged about math, because everyone is capable of understanding all concepts.
