About Sheila
Hello, My name is Sheila and I am a math tutor. I have 3 years of experience working with students in both lower and upper classes. Over my three years of working with students, I have helped them prepare for their exams, revise their syllabus and even homeschooling them. I am an enthusiast and I believe in being intentional in whatever I do. I love travelling, swimming and participating in activities that raise self awareness for communities. I am passionate about math and I love being in connection with students from all over.

My methodology of teaching is interactive and I like sparking the curiosity of students so as to make math more interesting. I believe in going to the level of students and making them understand any concept, so I tailor my lessons to better suit the learning style of the student. Many of my students show dramatic improvement with time after engaging in my classes. My classes are interactive as I encourage my students to ask questions, I also like involving my students in class by asking them questions and outside class by giving them assignments. I am selfless and I believe in helping others. I am quite passionate about mathematics and I believe it is an interesting subject and would like my students to have the same passion. My students describe me as a patient and understanding tutor who is willing to help them in math.
