Goal: Be able to read and write Pinyin correctly, and finally obtain authentic Chinese Pinyin pronunciation, laying a solid foundation for speaking standard Mandarin.

This course may include pronunciation correction. Due to different pronunciation issues, study time may vary from person to person.

Study time: permanent or according to student needs

Learning content and materials: "New Concept Chinese", "Easy Learning Chinese", "Practical Chinese", etc. Or make plans according to students' needs.

learning target:

Elementary level: Master basic daily communication terminology and grammar, and be able to conduct simple and basic communication.

Intermediate level: Master certain elementary and intermediate vocabulary and grammar, be able to conduct daily conversations proficiently and be able to cope with basic business travel, daily life, office, and other needs.

About the lesson

I have a master's degree in education from Normal University and have more than ten years of experience in the education field. I have IPA International Registered Chinese Teacher Qualification Certificate, Mandarin Qualification Certificate and Senior Teacher Qualification Certificate, etc. I was born in the famous historical and cultural city of Hubei, where there is the Yellow Crane Tower, a historical landmark of Chinese and foreign civilization, and there is also the poem "Egrets flying in front of Xisai Mountain, peach blossoms and flowing water, mandarin fish fat" written by Zhang Zhihe, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. During my undergraduate internship, I chose to teach and conduct research in Yangxin Village, Hubei Province, where I taught primary school students Chinese, music, and other subjects. I felt the joy of education through the experience of interacting with students. My sense of achievement comes from stimulating students' curiosity and desire to explore, and I also enjoy laughing with students in class. My specialty is teaching through entertainment. In my spare time, I like to read and write poetry, and I also try to write and adapt songs. In my class, I hope to provide students with an immersive teaching environment, provide students with different scenarios to practice, and give students more opportunities to practice speaking, hoping that they will improve their Chinese unconsciously. My classes will combine a variety of teaching methods such as flash cards, videos, and audios. I will also customize courses for students based on their different interests, such as learning to sing Chinese songs, watching sports events, learning Chinese, etc. We can also study Chinese culture together, such as the Four Great Chinese Classics, Sun Tzu's Art of War, Three Hundred Tang Poems, Tao Te Ching, and Chinese Taoist traditional Chinese medicine health culture, such as Tai Chi, Baduanjin, etc. I came to the United States in 2019 and helped many foreign friends learn Chinese. During my interactions with them, I gradually became interested in comparing Chinese and Western cultures, which helped me understand how to teach Chinese in a way that was easier for them to understand.
