About Phyllis
I am a Certified Nurse Educator with over twenty-five years of experience in nursing education at the associate and baccalaureate level in face-to-face, online, and hybrid settings. I've been certified in Emergency Nursing (CEN) and Critical Care (CCRN) and earned the designation of Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Adult Critical Care Nursing. I've also practiced as a Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC), as a consultant, and as an expert witness.

I break down information into manageable need-to-know data for practical client care. How do I accomplish this? I use unfolding case studies interspersed with NCLEX-style questions for success in exams and confident client care.
Most of the students I tutor are enrolled in accelerated nursing programs, where time management is essential. Tutoring includes study tips to focus on effective reading and note-taking.
