About Amanda
Hi there! I am Amanda, a dedicated and experienced Personal Trainer with over 3 years in the fitness industry, holding a Certified Personal Trainer certification with ACE Fitness. Fitness and nutrition are my true passions. Having been active from a young age and engaged in a wide variety of sports like tennis, swimming, boxing and most recently, weightlifting and Hyrox training, fitness to me is a lifestyle. It’s an investment in yourself now, to ensure that your future self is grateful for the investment you made in the present. I believe in taking a holistic and sustainable approach to healthy living. Living an active and healthy lifestyle is not defined or limited by outward appearance or muscle size. To me, it is about being functional in everyday activities, and taking a balanced approach to your health. I am a big believer in coaching for deep health. This involves considering the multi-dimensional thriving of a whole person in their whole life. An active and healthy lifestyle is multifaceted and requires commitment and balance across your relational, physical, existential, emotional, mental and environmental aspects. I am here to understand how each dimension in your life is complementing one another to contribute to your overall personal well being. I am personally and professionally dedicated to teaching clients how to achieve such balance through learning and skill development. It’s not simply about “hitting the gym;” it’s about discovering your inner strength, harnessing personal potential, and pursuing meaningful goals for yourself. I believe in helping you achieve your fullest potential, challenging you (within reasonable limits) to become 1% better each day. Additionally, I keep up to date with the latest fitness research to ensure you get the best coaching possible. We will create a programme together to help you reach your fullest potential, while ensuring it is sustainable and enjoyable for you. I use a science-backed training approach customised to your fitness and health goals, while ensuring that the programme is sustainable for you. Overall, my training emphasises safety-first and achieving results for you. Fitness Coaching is a collaborative experience: I am your trusted partner in health and wellness, and only want the best for you. The best way I can support you is when you openly share your needs, concerns and challenges with me, and we can discuss how to address them together. Similarly, I am committed to honest, open and transparent communication. A typical coaching session will start with a check in with how you’re feeling, and the progress you’ve made. We’ll start off with a set of warm-up exercises, followed by the training programme, and finish off with a set of cool-down exercises. We’ll have another check-in of how you’re feeling, and modify the next session (if necessary). All information you share with me is strictly private and confidential. Please let me know if you are uncomfortable with sharing any specific information.
