About Beth
I am a teacher who has published two books. I believe that teaching writing is a strength of mine. I have four years experience teaching reading through an intensive scripted intervention system, and four years teaching secondary ELA. My students made the most progress in the district both years that I taught Read 180 In Richland District Five. This past year, my students have gone from beginning readers to proficient readers and others have made significant lexile gains through the program I am teaching/facilitating.

My teaching method is hands-on. I first assess students' needs through a reading lexile test or a writing sample. Then, I make note of grade-level benchmark goals and work on strategies to help students achieve goals that meet their grade-level standards.
