About Robin
With over 5 years of formal classroom experience teaching all levels of Spanish, I have experience working with middle school, high school, and university students, and I was recognized as a "Commended Teacher of the Humanities" by the organization Humanities Texas for the year 2020.
Having lived abroad in three geographically and culturally diverse regions of the Spanish-speaking world--Chile, Mexico, and Spain--I have an understanding of the rich cultural underpinnings of the Spanish language and of the relationship between language and culture.
Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, since I remember what it was like to start from almost zero Spanish knowledge in middle school and work my way up to fluency, I am uniquely prepared to help you overcome any roadblocks and plateaus that may arise in your language-learning journey.

Hi there! My name is Robin, and I am a certified Spanish teacher passionate about meeting you where you are and helping you grow in your language proficiency. I can help you gain confidence in your Spanish while you develop or improve your conversational skills and reading/writing skills.
