About Irene
¡Hola! I’m Irene — a qualified teacher with a background in Journalism, Marketing, and Communications. After years working with young people through organisations like the Scouts Association, I discovered my true calling: teaching. I retrained in the UK as a secondary school teacher and now specialise in Spanish language education. I'm passionate about helping children (and adults!) see how learning Spanish can open doors—whether for travel, careers, or making meaningful global connections. Through my lessons, I bring the language to life with real-world context, cultural insights, and lots of encouragement. By making learning active, relevant, and engaging, I strive to develop critical thinking, creativity, and practical skills that students can carry confidently into the real world. Lessons typically last 45min and can be tailored to students from Primary to A-level.
