About Elizabeth
Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I am a certified Special Education teacher with experience supporting high school students in math and academic skill development. I currently work with students in Algebra and Geometry, helping them understand concepts that may feel overwhelming in the classroom.
My passion is helping students who struggle with learning or who need extra support to build confidence in math. I specialize in breaking down problems into clear, manageable steps and teaching strategies that help students become more independent learners. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, patience, and encouragement.
Through my work in Special Education, I have experience supporting students with IEPs, ADHD, and other learning differences. I focus on creating a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
Whether your student needs help understanding homework, preparing for tests, or strengthening foundational math skills, I am here to help them grow and feel confident in their abilities.

My lessons are designed to support students who may struggle with math or need extra guidance to understand concepts. As a certified Special Education teacher, I focus on breaking problems down into smaller, manageable steps so students can build confidence and truly understand the material.
During our sessions, I model strategies, work through problems together, and provide guided practice so students feel comfortable asking questions. I adjust my teaching style to match each student’s learning needs and pace. My goal is not just to help students complete assignments, but to help them understand the process and develop skills they can use independently.
I have experience helping students with Algebra, Geometry, and foundational math skills, especially those with IEPs, ADHD, or learning differences. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel successful and motivated.
