About Kathryn
I have been a certified math teacher working either in the classroom or in tutoring positions for over 11 years. Students taking my class in school have repeatedly told me that they felt prepared in college for the classes they took because if the foundation I laid. My tutor students' grades show improvement as they start to let me help them. I thrive on helping students achieve. I hate that sometimes math is a big struggle for many, so my goal is to take that struggle off your plate so you feel confident as you approach a math course/test.

I am excited to offer help to struggling students of any age who are taking Prealgebra, Algebra 1 or 2, or Geometry. I can also help with ACT prep. I love to tutor/teach because it's fun to me to see the "got it" or "ah ha" moment that lights up a student's face! My style of teaching is to find ways to help a student remember the processes of how to solve the problems! I try to break it down into steps that can be taken. I also find it fun to come up clues to help students remember math facts that are needed within a course. As I said before, I'm excited to dig in to what's troubling you in your math course and help you overcome those struggles!
