About Jessica

Hi there! My name is Jessica. Nice to meet you! I'd like to briefly introduce myself. In 2013, I went to Canada for my four-year undergraduate study. I studied finance at University of Western Ontario. And I got my bachelor degree once I graduated in 2017. After that, I went to France to continue my postgraduate study of luxury and fashion management (LFM) at SKEMA Business School. When studying abroad, I experienced different cultures of North America and Europe. I travelled a lot of European countries, such as Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Czech, Slovakia, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg. I really love the way of exploring the world by knowing them in reality. Life in Canada and France changes the way I look at things, which broaden my horizons and help me to analyze problems with a long-term and global perspective.

In my spare time, I enjoy writing Chinese calligraphy, listening to K-pop music and watching British dramas. I also love studying Korean and French.

I hold Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(CTCSOL), Mandarin Proficiency Certificate, Senior High School English Teaching Certificate and Junior High School English Teaching Certificate both issued by Chinese Education Department. I am a person with ability plus flexibility and I work well with a multi-cultural and diverse work force. When I was in Canada, I had many experiences of teaching Chinese as a Second Language. I have been teaching many students from different countries and different ages. Some of them are Canadian Chinese. Some are Koreans and immigrants from the Middle East countries.

About the lesson

As a teacher, I love teaching and I want to devote my life to education and let the world know more about China. I will know my students' learning goals and learning needs, and make one-on-one teaching plans for them, so that students can experience the fun of learning Chinese in the process of perception. I create my own method to teach students read Chinese characters and learn Chinese language in a fun, practical and easy way. I hope to see you and we can communicate and learn language through exploring enrichment of the lovely world. Peace!
