About Marko
Graduated in piano and music theory 15 years ago, I started full-time teaching since, working with a variety of people, children and adults from 6 to 80 years old.
Throughout my career as a pianist, I played in jazz orchestras and accompanied the soloists, performed classical music in solo recitals. My passion for music translates also in the field of teaching, working thoroughly on a hand technique and the interpretation.
As a solfege and music theory teacher, I try to put a solid base for a instrumental and vocal practice, that offers a larger understanding of a music score and one music genre in general.
As a former choir singer, the ear training and singing represents an important part of my musical and teacher profile.
I worked as a music teacher for two years in a special school for disabled children, where I learned that a handicap does not rhyme with weakness.

I adapt to my student's level and desires, prefering an easy-going method that doesn't discourage them in their learning and progress, especially the beginners. I offer a broader approach to music learning, through teaching the music theory alongside the instrument itself. I opt for a smooth progress, with a small degree of difficulties.
