About Kourtney
I’m a TIA Exemplary recognized teacher with two Master degrees and six years of experience.
I’m certified to teach all subjects EC-6 grade and core subjects 4-8 grade
I’m kind and patient, but I will push you to continue despite things being difficult. I believe that your best work comes out of the biggest challenges. I believe that children can achieve anything. They set them to and I do not allow you to say. “I can’t do it” or “it’s too hard”. I acknowledge the challenges and support you through to success
I have taught nearly 400 children throughout my time in education - several of which didn’t know English when they started my class and left speaking a significant amount. Many others couldn’t read or read significantly below grade level and left my class on or above grade level.

Work hard and believe in yourself, because you can do it! No matter how hard reading or math may feel, slowing down and taking your time is the key.
I will teach you the basic foundational skills and we will practice together. I help with homework and class tutoring, as well as test preparation.
If tests make you feel sick, let me give you strategies that are guaranteed to help you ace any test!
