About Brendan
I received a bachelors degree in education in 2015. Since then I have been a substitute, full-time tutor, and I currently teach third grade. While tutoring, I taught students of all ages and subjects.
A lot of my current students are immigrants needing extra help obtaining the necessary English proficiency skills.

I consider myself a lifelong learner. In my classroom, I give positive reinforcement, rewards, and make learning competitive and fun. My students enjoy my class because they know what to expect and I include things to make the learning fun and enjoyable. We have trivia, which allows the students to earn prizes, and work toward bigger awards, such as a party. In addition, I am always searching for new ways to present information that allows the student to relate.
