About Linda

I have published novels and works of nonfiction, including many articles. I have had students from various parts of the world, such as Saudi Arabia and China. One of my students I met in 2015, and he was barely able to speak English. Now he has completed a nursing degree in Canada and is looking for a gap-year job before earning his Master's. He has virtually no accent. One of my Chinese students I met when she was working on her Master's. She is now working on her Ph.D. I have also edited and proofread material for faculty members who have gone on to publish their work.

About the lesson

I work on Zoom. Classes are in English so the student gets the maximum amount of practice speaking the language. I try to adapt lessons to the student's learning style. I am flexible in my hours since I am a writer. I have been tutoring college students since 2015. I teach English for all degrees. I prefer to work with college students, but I can teach high school students as well.
