About Marichel

Hello, and welcome! My name is Marichel, and I am an industrial engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Batangas State University. Since 2021, I have worked remotely and full time supporting students online, delivering more than 3,000 customized statistical solutions with accuracy and care.

Over the years, I have also trained new employees from operator to supervisor level, and I completed the Train the Trainers program. These experiences taught me how to explain difficult ideas in a simple, clear way. I am also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, which means I like to approach every problem in an organized, step-by-step manner.

I am patient, detail-oriented, and dependable. I take the time to understand where you are struggling, explain the reasoning behind each step, and make sure you feel confident before we move on. I also use Excel tools, such as pivot tables and lookup functions, to make data analysis easier to follow.

My teaching approach

I teach statistics and Excel data analysis by breaking each problem into small steps. I start by checking what you already understand, then show how to set up the problem, choose the right method, and check the answer. After that, you try a similar problem yourself while I guide you. I explain the reasoning behind each step so that you can solve new problems on your own.

A typical lesson

Quick review: We look at your homework, notes, or the topic you're stuck on.
Worked example: I solve one problem step by step and explain why each step is done.
Your turn: You solve a similar problem, and I give feedback.
Recap: We summarize the key ideas and set practice tasks for next time.
