About Chen-Wei
As a certified university lecturer in Taipei and the head director of two cross-nation educational institutes Mr. TOEIC in Taipei and Study Abroad for FREE in Bangkok, I am keen to expand my experience in your position where I can elevate my intercultural teaching skills.
• Being multilingual and having multicultural experience: I am fluent in speaking English, Mandarin Chinese (native) and Taiwanese (native). I am also able to speak basic Japanese and Thai. Due to my learning and teaching experience in four countries, and working experience across Asia, I tend to deal with tasks and problems from different perspectives. With this ability, I am able to be an excellent Mandarin teacher with the focus on culturally diverse setting and individual learning differences.

As a certified lecturer in the Department of English in both Taiwan University of Technology and Tatung University,I always break the boundaries of curriculum design by integrating student courses with e-learning, which provides a greater depth to a field. I utilize student-centered method in my curriculum design, while focusing on individual differences during the classroom setting.
This semester, I have combined currently debated issues with negotiation and debate skills into my undergraduate course “Business English and Presentation Skills”. They have debated over thorny issues such as the death penalty and euthanasia, as well as issues concerning the state of the economy in Taiwan.
