About Jillian
I’m a certified yoga teacher and wellness educator passionate about helping people build strength, presence, and emotional well-being through movement, mindfulness, and breath.
My path into teaching is shaped by a unique blend of experience: a background in biotechnology, years supporting children and families in therapeutic settings, and hands-on experience leading both in-person and virtual yoga classes. This foundation gives me a science-informed understanding of the body alongside a deeply human-centered approach to teaching.
I’ve created and led vinyasa classes for teams, developed children’s yoga workshops focused on healthy coping skills, and facilitated weekly virtual family yoga classes during the pandemic. My work is rooted in the belief that yoga is more than movement. It’s a practice that helps us regulate, reconnect, and live with greater awareness.
I’m especially interested in opportunities involving virtual instruction, creating inclusive spaces, mindfulness education, and community-centered wellness programming.

My approach to teaching yoga is grounded in the belief that yoga is for every body and every stage of life. I create a welcoming, supportive space where students can build strength, mobility, mindfulness, and self-awareness at their own pace.
My teaching blends mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and body awareness. Drawing from my background in science and wellness, I emphasize safe alignment, nervous system regulation, and the mind-body connection, helping students understand not just how to move, but why certain practices support overall well-being.
A typical lesson begins with grounding breathwork or a short meditation, followed by gentle warm-ups, intentional movement sequences tailored to the student’s goals and experience level, and ends with stretching, rest, and reflection. Sessions may focus on strength and mobility, stress reduction, mindfulness, or creating a sustainable home yoga practice.
What sets me apart is my ability to combine science-informed teaching with compassion, intuition, and a calming presence. I also bring experience teaching virtually, including leading Zoom yoga classes for families and creating yoga workshops designed to support emotional well-being and healthy coping skills.
My lessons are for beginners through intermediate students, including adults, teens, and children. I especially enjoy working with students seeking stress relief, greater balance, mindfulness, and a deeper connection with themselves through yoga and meditation.
