About Mary
I am a certified teacher with 17 years of experience helping students in grades 1–8 build confidence and improve their skills in math and science. I also help students develop stronger study skills and test-taking strategies. My goal is to help students truly understand the material rather than memorize steps, so they can feel more confident and successful in the classroom. Sessions are supportive, structured, and tailored to each learner’s needs.

I specialize in breaking down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps and adapting instruction to each student’s learning style. I provide support in early elementary math (grades 1–3), middle school math including fractions, decimals, ratios, pre-algebra, and algebra support, as well as science concepts and test preparation. I also help students develop stronger study skills and test-taking strategies.
