About Faisalh
I'm a CFA Charterholder currently working in an economics role at a major bank, with a background that also includes financial risk advisory work. I studied economics with a focus in finance, and I've spent my career applying economics, statistics, and financial modeling to real-world problems. I teach CFA exam prep, microeconomics and macroeconomics (including intro courses like ECO101/ECO102 and ECON 1B03/1BB3), and time value of money and financial math. Teaching has always come naturally to me — I enjoy breaking down technical material into something clear and practical. Outside of tutoring, I stay hands-on with programming and quantitative tools, which I bring into lessons wherever it's useful. I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoy helping students build real confidence with material that can otherwise feel intimidating.

Lessons are one-on-one and fully personalized to your level and goals, whether you're prepping for a CFA exam, working through a micro or macro course (including ECO101/ECO102 and ECON 1B03/1BB3), learning time value of money and financial math, or picking up Python for finance. Sessions are conducted online via webcam, with flexible scheduling to fit around school or work. Each lesson combines concept review, worked examples, and hands-on practice problems, so you leave with both understanding and confidence applying it.
