About Oliver
I’m a CFA Charterholder and Cambridge MBA with a professional background across fixed income trading and strategy, reaching Director level before completing my MBA.
I’ve worked across financial markets, product and commercial strategy, as well as strategy consulting, giving me practical experience to draw on when teaching finance, markets, business and strategy.
Having been through both the CFA and MBA journeys myself, I also understand the challenges of the exams, applications and interviews from first-hand experience.
I enjoy helping people make sense of complicated ideas and, just as importantly, explaining them without making them sound more complicated than they need to be.

I focus on making difficult concepts intuitive and connecting theory to how finance and business work in the real world, rather than simply memorising formulae and frameworks.
Sessions are tailored to what you need, whether that’s tackling a difficult CFA topic, working through finance or strategy, sharpening an MBA application or preparing for an interview.
Lessons are typically 30–60 minutes, with longer sessions available where useful. I work primarily with university students, CFA candidates, MBA applicants and early-career professionals.
Most importantly, sessions are relaxed, practical and focused on getting you where you need to be.
