About Sonya
Hi! I’m currently working in Big 4 Assurance and recently wrote the September 2026 CFE! I’ve tutored accounting students during university, and I’ve always really enjoyed helping others learn. Having gone through the CPA program myself over the last year, I know how stressful and overwhelming it can get, and I’d love to make that journey a little easier for you!
My sessions are super relaxed, friendly, and completely judgment-free. There are no stupid questions, and you can ask me to explain something as many times as you need!
Whether you need help with a tricky concept, case writing strategies/feedback, or just some exam advice, I’m happy to help. I really just want to see you succeed and pass those exams! :)

Sonya is a very effective tutor who goes above and beyond for her students! She helped me prepare for the Assurance and Core 1 module exams and gave me lots of useful tips for case writing! Would definitely recommend!
Sonya’s an excellent tutor!!! She helped me prepare for the PEP modules and I really appreciate the way she explains concepts by giving lots of examples and breaking it down so it’s easier to understand. She also gave me some very important tips to write my case answers which helped me excel in my module exams!
