About Michael
Throughout my own education, where I obtained of college degree, and via several years of in-class teaching, I learned that kids are motivated to do well when they both respect the teacher AND believe they can do the work. Instilling this confidence is where successful tutoring begins. Combining positive reinforcement with accountability puts everyone in a place to succeed. I've helped many students with various issues achieve their goals. I don't do the work for the student; I unleash the tools they already have and take advantage of their strengths.

By listening and using humor, I will make learning something your child will enjoy, reopening doors to their future possibilities while unlocking their potential. This will allow your relationship to evolve into more as you won't constantly be in the role of enforcer. Subjects include reading comprehension, writing (including how to organize an essay), history, civics, algebra, and geometry. Instructions will focus on how to get assignments done quickly and giving the teacher what they want for a good grade.
