My teaching approach is to teach students to be involved and leave my sessions with a sense of positivity in themselves. This includes instruction techniques such as visual, auditory and kinetic learning so a student can adapt in terms of different teaching instructions from future instructors. Teaching truly begins when a student believes that they CAN improve.
During my high school years spent overseas in South Korea, I taught both native Korean and English speakers, ages 5-11, an array of different types of elementary mathematics. Additionally, I worked at an English speaking elementary school for my last two years of high school on common core mathematics. This ultimately led me to decide on my current major psychology and my certificate in early childhood education.
