About Charlie
I am a sophomore in high school who is knowledgeable in music theory, composition, and the writing process of music for various ensembles. My work has qualified for and been displayed/performed at events like the All-Eastern summit in 2025, and many different concerts or performance settings. While I am not by any means a professional, I believe I have the skills and resources required to teach beginner composers how to get started!

My lessons would mainly be for beginner composers who want to write music but don’t know where to start. While I don’t claim to be a professional, I have taught many peers and classmates and have a complex understanding of music theory and the fundamentals required to start out from scratch. In my lessons, we would start by getting an overview of how music and composition works, and then move in to downloading composition software and working on some different projects together depending on your interests
