About Lilly

With 5 years of teaching and music experience, I have developed my identity as a drum tutor who enjoys helping students build rhythm, confidence, and creativity. Working with school to college learners allows me to guide them through different stages of growth and personality. A highlight of my career was supporting a student who had stage fear but later performed beautifully in a college event. Their journey taught me how important encouragement and patience are in music education. I have also trained many student groups for cultural programmes and music meets.

My lessons include structured practice, clear step-by-step guidance, and fun rhythm exercises. I focus on hand technique, timing, beat control, and performance skills. I use real songs, demonstrations, and engaging activities to make learning smooth and enjoyable. I believe that every student deserves a teacher who understands their pace and believes in their potential. Teaching drumming gives me the opportunity to inspire confidence and creativity in young learners. It is a profession that truly brings joy to my life.

About the lesson

My drum teaching methodology is shaped by Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I aim to make drumming simple, interactive, and meaningful while building strong musical skills. Motivation plays a key part in my lessons. I keep students excited with small achievements, fun warm-ups, and song-based learning. This helps them enjoy practice and notice their growth. Communication helps students understand each step clearly. I teach using simple English, slow demonstrations, and easy-to-follow breakdowns. Students are free to ask questions, and I provide clear explanations every time.

Integrity builds a strong learning structure. I give honest feedback, teach proper techniques, and maintain a respectful and patient environment. I focus on real skill-building rather than shortcuts. Creativity keeps learning enjoyable. I help students try their own rhythms, create drum fills, and experiment with styles like funk, jazz, rock, and pop. Coordination exercises, rhythm reading, and timing practice are also included. Besides Drums, I can teach percussion basics, rhythm development, tempo stability, and music theory fundamentals.
