About Irene
Hi! My name is Irene and I am studying a Bachelor of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering and a Master of Engineering at UQ. I am in my fourth year of my degree and I will graduate at the end of next year.
I have been tutoring students from grades 7-12 since early 2020 while I was in grade 12 myself. My students' grades have increased from Cs to As and my grade 12s have graduated with ATAR scores of above 95, with one of my students now studying Dentistry.
I am a patient and encouraging person and will take the time to ensure you feel confident before you submit an assignment or walk into an exam.

I have been a private tutor since 2020 and have had great success with all of my students. As a student from the first year of ATAR, I know all the techniques for assignments to get full marks and effective strategies to revise and get high grades. I teach 1-2 hour lessons for grades 7-10 during which we cover homework problems, cover content for the next week to keep ahead of class and set a 'to do' list for the following week.
