I encourage critical thinking and problem solving skills in all of my lessons. My goal is the get the student to truly understand the subject, not just the specific problem. I teach students how to analyze the problem, diagnose the issue, and solve using their known knowledge.
I am a Chemical Engineer with my master degree from the University of California, Riverside. I have been doing tutoring and teaching, both individual and classes, for over 6 years. During this time, 90% of my regular students were able to achieve their targeted grade in their respective class. I currently teach Physics and Algebra 2 classes at Francis Parker Upper School in San Diego.
Experience:
AUGUST 2019 - PRESENT
FACULTY β MATH AND SCIENCE, FRANCIS PARKER UPPER SCHOOL
Faculty member in both the Math and Science department at Francis Parker Upper School. Teach multiple classes of Physics and Algebra 2 to students ranging from Freshmen to Seniors. Help to develop and improve current class curriculum in Physics (AP), Algebra, Chemistry (AP) and Engineering.
