About Sonia

I provide tutoring in MATHS and SCIENCE and am passionate about helping students to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME:
I graduated with a First Class Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester and currently work as a Chemical Engineer in the nuclear industry. I have 10+ years of experience tutoring students in Maths, Chemistry and Physics at KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-level. My students have all gone on to surpass their predicted grades and achieve their goals. I also have experience mentoring first and second year Chemical Engineering students at university.

WHAT?

WHEN?
I'm available most weekday evenings after 17:00 and also weekends. Please reach out to confirm availability.

WHERE?
I can provide tutoring sessions online or in-person (at your home or at my home). I generally find in-person sessions to be most effective!

About the lesson

My teaching style is flexible and interactive - this gives you the opportunity to tailor sessions to your own learning requirements.

I like to use question and answer based sessions to test your knowledge and identify areas of weakness. I also like to spend time practising examination style techniques and questions which are crucial to be able to master for exam success.

I'm more than happy to alter my teaching style to suit your needs and would like to discuss this with you during the first session.
