About Sean
I am currently a graduate student in Food Science at UIUC. I have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and worked for a Fortune 50 food and agriculture corporation for 5 years as a process and controls engineer. I am seeking my first prospective students for tutoring in math, chemistry, or college prep.

I am a highly visual learner so my methodology tends to reflect that. I am a huge proponent of breaking problems down into small parts, writing them all out, and going through how each part fits together. In my experience sometimes what appears to be a larger issue with the material can all be attributed to just a missed understanding of how one small piece of a process or formula fits in with the rest. Students will have a lot of opportunity to lead lessons in the direction that they want while we work example problems and talk out issues. I also like to relate as many things as I can to real world situations that I experience during my time in industry.
