Bo is by far the most helpful tutor I've ever had. If it weren't for him I would've had to retake my general chem class, but he was able to help me save my grade. Super patient and supportive, he helped me with my basic understanding of the subject and then guided me through the rest. He's a really great teacher and tutor, I highly recommend him!

Bo has great flexibility in the way that he tutors, as he is able to take a more hands-off approach and let me attempt a problem to try and figure it out, or he can take a more traditional teaching approach by walking me through step by step in order to reach a solution. He is also very patient, as sometimes I felt I was being too slow in doing my work but he never rushed me and was always happy to repeat his tips and advice. I'm incredibly grateful for Bo's tutoring and would definitely recommend him.

I first reached out to Bo during my first year of college as a Biology major, taking General Chemistry. During my spring quarter, I was about to fail my class (got a D on the midterm) and needed at least a B on my final to pass the class! When tutoring me, Bo was extremely patient and made sure I understood the concepts instead of letting me try to guess my way through multiple choice questions. I felt confident after finishing my final, and ended up with a B- in that class (so much better than failing)! I highly recommend Bo as a tutor, as I also reached out to him to tutor me during my second year of college, since I was taking Organic Chemistry. Bo helped me through molecular reactions (which I was extremely intimidated by), making sure I understood the foundations why certain parts of reactants react and why a particular product was made. Proud to say that I got A's in my ochem classes after having Bo tutor me!

TLDR: 12/10 recommend! Would ask him to tutor me again if I had to take chem or ochem.
