About Clarke

I believe every student has the potential to thrive when they’re given the right support, opportunity, and tools to learn in a way that works for them. With a degree in chemical engineering, a biology minor, and years of research and internship experience, I offer more than just academic expertise; I offer mentorship rooted in service and compassion. I’ve completed countless hours giving back to my community, from mentoring youth in local elementary schools to spending my spring breaks participating in Howard University Alternative Spring Break leading youth development programs. These experiences have shaped my ability to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds, meeting them where they are and helping them grow. I don’t just tutor; I listen, adapt, and motivate. My deep understanding of STEM, combined with a passion for service and teaching, makes me not only qualified but truly committed to helping students succeed in and beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

I’m a chemical engineering graduate with a biology minor from Howard University, backed by two years of hands-on research and internships in chemical engineering and materials science. I specialize in making STEM subjects like math, science, and engineering not only understandable but actually enjoyable. Whether it’s elementary math or advanced calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, or other STEM courses, I provide personalized support to build confidence, boost performance, and prepare students of all levels for long-term academic and college success. From schoolwork to mastering tough concepts or preparing for college. I go beyond standard study plans by tailoring each session to match the student’s unique learning style, making complex ideas click and turning uncertainty into clarity and confidence. Let’s work together to unlock your full potential and set you up for success!
