Hi! I'm Anuradha, a passionate tutor with over 3 years of experience, tutoring since 2015 in a variety of settings (1-1, private, remote, homework help, tutoring centers) helping K-12 students unlock their academic potential. My background in Chemical Engineering (University of Washington, Dean's List) allows me to break down complex subjects like Math and Science into clear, understandable steps.

In conquering math, I spend time understanding a child’s struggle areas, and focus on improving. With a strong communication style and a focus on fostering student success, I'll help your child build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
My passion lies in making math enjoyable and empowering students to reach their academic potential. I bring a unique combination of skills to the table. I have a strong foundation in mathematics with a background in Chemical Engineering (graduated Dean's List from University of Washington) and scores on standardized tests (SAT Math Level 2 - 760, AP Calculus AB - 5, College Level Multivariate Calculus - 4.0). I have a structured approach to problem-solving that helps students learn effectively (beginning with dissecting what the problem is asking for and what type of problem it is, applying relevant formulas and equations, and solving). I keep the student engaged throughout, occasionally prompting the student for what they are doing as they are working through the problem and that helps me understand their specific learning needs. I focus on positive reinforcement, fostering student success and building confidence.
