About María Karla
Hi! I'm María Karla, a Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Matanzas. I graduated with academic honors and a GPA of 4.92/5.00, and during my university studies I was actively involved in scientific research and worked as a teaching assistant.
Alongside my engineering background, I also have teaching experience, so I especially enjoy turning difficult topics into clear, structured, and easy-to-follow explanations. I am patient, responsible, and I adapt my teaching to each student's pace and individual needs.
From my own experience, I know that Chemical Engineering can sometimes feel overwhelming. My goal is not only to help you solve a particular problem, but also to help you understand the reasoning behind it so that you become more confident and independent in your studies.

My goal is to help you truly understand Chemical Engineering rather than simply memorize equations. During my lessons, we work through concepts step by step, connecting theory with practical exercises and real chemical process applications.
Each lesson is adapted to the student's individual needs. We can start from the fundamentals, solve problems together, prepare for exams, clarify specific questions, or focus on the topics you find most challenging.
Lessons may cover mass and energy balances, thermodynamics, unit operations, chemical process analysis, heat and mass transfer, engineering calculations, and other Chemical Engineering related subjects.
A typical lesson starts by identifying the concepts you need to strengthen. I then explain the theory clearly, work through examples with you, and finally guide you through exercises so that you can apply the method independently.
I am a Chemical Engineering graduate with academic honors and experience as a university teaching assistant. I focus on patient, structured explanations and I am happy to approach the same concept in different ways until it becomes clear.
My lessons are mainly designed for university students studying Chemical Engineering or related degrees, as well as students who need additional support with engineering subjects.
