About Tracy
I have always loved maths, science, and problem-solving, and I’m passionate about sharing that enthusiasm with my students. I enjoy helping students build confidence in themselves and reach their full potential, creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.
One of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me is seeing students go from feeling confused and unsure to becoming confident and experiencing those “aha” moments when everything finally clicks. I’m a calm, approachable, and patient tutor who genuinely cares about the progress of my students, and I take their success personally. I always do everything within my power to help them improve, grow in confidence, and achieve their goals.

I am a friendly and approachable tutor who values building strong rapport with my students so I can better understand their individual strengths, struggles, and learning needs. I tailor my lessons and teaching approach to suit each student, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence.
I teach with a focus on understanding rather than memorisation because I strongly believe that once a student truly understands a concept, they are far more likely to retain it and apply it successfully in different situations. I strive to help students build confidence, overcome challenging concepts, and genuinely enjoy learning.
Through my experience as a GCSE Maths tutor, STEM Ambassador, and online science tutor over the past four months, I have supported students of different ages and abilities. One of my proudest moments was helping my nephew prepare for his SATs. Watching him go from feeling confused, unconfident, and afraid of maths to genuinely enjoying it and believing in his own abilities showed me the power of patience, encouragement, and adapting explanations to each learner.
