About Elisa
Hi! My name is Elisa and I am a Western University chemical engineering graduate. After working in the industry for 2 years, I realized I am much more passionate about teaching kids and youth. I started out as a swim instructor at 16, learning how to create lesson plans and track my students' progress at a young age. After leaving the engineering field, I started my own STEM program, offering hands-on science workshops for kids in my remote community. I also became a teacher and educational assistant, where I teach kids and youth in elementary and high schools in classroom, small-group and one-on-one settings. I have taught kids and youth of all ages and abilities, helping them meet their academic goals and grow a love for STEM! I am passionate about science and math, especially chemistry, and am excited to join you on your journey!
