About Vethalingam

Hi, I am Vetha, a recent chemical engineering graduate from Imperial College London. I have been tutoring for the last 7 years since high school. During my university years, through the Pimlico connection programme, I was helping out with after school lessons for students to boost their grades. I am very comfortable in online lessons too as I have been doing it since my first year. I have also helped out summer school students, hence I consider myself having a variety of experience when it comes to tutoring. I am most comfortable tutoring Maths, Physics and Chemistry as I have been interested in those subjects since high school as well as my degree being heavily focused in those areas. I hope I can make your learning experience better and looking forward to hear from you soon!

About the lesson

I am a very patient tutor and always make sure that my students understand the core knowledge before attempting several problems in that subject area. I did Cambridge A levels but I am also familiar with other boards such as AQA, OCR and Edexcel. My lessons are typically 1 hour as this is the usual focus span of students but happy to have longer sessions if you prefer that.

During my GCSEs, he taught me mathematics. He was a very good a precise tutor. From the very start, he was able to pinpoint my weaknesses. He also gives very good examples and exercises to do which allowed me to excel in my GCSE examination. He is also very friendly and approachable, hence I am able to ask him any questions. Overall a solid tutor. Would recommend him.
