About Jacob
As an undergraduate at Hendrix College, I have had the pleasure of working with many students and colleagues on a variety of subjects in the math and sciences. As a Chemical Physics major, I have experience in Calculus I, II, and Multivariable, Differential Equations, General Physics I & II, Vibrations and Waves, Electrodynamics, General Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry I, Physical Chemistry, and more.

Every student is different, so the key to good teaching (and more importantly, effective learning) is adaptability. Some students are visual learners, while others may learn best through hands on experience and examples. Regardless of the student, my goal is to help the student learn to approach each subject from different perspectives in order to develop the skills and knowledge they need to not only do well in the classroom, but to also be able to use these newly acquired skills in life outside of school.
