About Alex
I have been a tutor, primarily in math, since I began peer tutoring in the fifth grade to students within my grade struggling through their courses. From there, I have always had a side job or two or four, working with students to assist in the understanding of a range of subjects, however, due to my background the science and math fields are my areas of interest.

My teaching approach is to create a fun atmosphere for learning not-so-fun topics. Chemistry especially, is introduced at a young developmental age that makes it difficult for children to truly grasp concepts they are being presented with. My approach to learning is by using easily comparable life experiences to the learning process to assist in the long term potentiation of memory formation.
