About Mae
My journey in chemistry began with curiosity about how substances react and form new compounds. I completed a Master’s Degree in Chemistry, where I developed strong theoretical and practical knowledge. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students from different academic backgrounds, helping them gain clarity and confidence. Teaching allows me to simplify complex ideas and guide learners effectively.
My teaching style is patient, clear, and adaptable. I understand that each student learns differently, so I adjust my approach based on their needs. I focus on building strong basics, providing step-by-step explanations, and encouraging regular practice. I also create a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions and learn without hesitation. This helps them stay motivated and engaged.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring chemistry through reading and practical understanding. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching chemistry is meaningful to me because I see students grow from confusion to confidence. Helping them build strong skills, improve performance, and develop a positive approach towards learning is something I truly value, and I remain committed to supporting their long-term academic success and growth.

My chemistry lessons are designed to make complex concepts simple, structured, and easy to understand for every student. I guide learners through topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, equations, acids and bases, and numerical problems using step-by-step explanations. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind each concept instead of memorising it. Each lesson includes examples, structured exercises, and real-life applications that make learning more meaningful.
Lessons are planned based on the student’s level and pace of learning. Beginners start with basic concepts and simple reactions to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners focus on balancing equations, solving numerical problems, and understanding chemical processes in more detail. Advanced students work on deeper concepts, application-based questions, and exam preparation strategies. I provide guided practice, corrections, and revision sessions to ensure steady progress. This helps students build clarity and confidence.
Chemistry also helps students develop analytical thinking and attention to detail. As they begin to understand how substances interact and change, they gain confidence in solving problems independently. Many students who once struggled with chemistry begin to enjoy it as they see improvement. My goal is to make chemistry simple, practical, and engaging. I want students to feel confident in applying their knowledge, solving problems accurately, and building a strong conceptual base that supports academic success and real-world understanding of chemical processes and scientific reasoning.
