I am able to explain and demonstrate even the most challenging chemistry concepts in a way that is accessible to the student. This could include visual displays, metaphors/mnemonic devices, etc.
I am also able to investigate misconceptions or gaps in understanding to determine how to best address any confusions.
Lessons are geared towards High School Chemistry students or Basic College Chemistry courses. Typical lesson plan will include 1) an preview of the topic (exploring what you already know, making real world applications to the topic; reviewing fundamental vocab or concepts connected to the topic) 2) Direct engagement with a concept (online simulations, demonstrations of problems, etc) and 3) majority of time will be spent on helping you practice the skills and providing feedback on your progress.
