About Riyana
My interest in chemistry started when I became curious about how substances react and change in everyday life. This curiosity led me to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, where I developed a strong understanding of chemical concepts. Over the past 6 years, I have helped students learn chemistry in a simple and structured way, making complex topics easier to understand and apply.
I believe that clear explanation and regular practice are important for mastering chemistry. Beginners are guided with simple concepts and basic examples. Intermediate learners improve through structured practice and deeper understanding of reactions. Advanced students focus on detailed topics and application-based learning that builds confidence. I always adapt my teaching style based on each student’s learning needs and pace.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring scientific ideas and understanding how chemistry is applied in real life. I bring these insights into my lessons to make learning more engaging and meaningful. Watching students grow in understanding and confidence is very rewarding. My goal is to help students build strong knowledge, clear thinking, and confidence in chemistry.

Chemistry becomes simple when students understand the reasons behind reactions instead of memorizing them. My lessons focus on core topics such as atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, acids and bases, and basic organic chemistry. Beginners start with simple ideas like elements, compounds, and basic reactions. Intermediate learners explore balancing equations, reaction types, and properties of substances. Advanced students focus on detailed reactions, mechanisms, and application-based questions that improve understanding and confidence.
I explain each concept using simple language, diagrams, and step-by-step methods so students can follow easily. Lessons include practice questions, examples, and guided exercises that help students apply what they learn effectively. I adjust the pace based on the student’s understanding to ensure clarity before moving ahead. Students are encouraged to ask questions and think logically about chemical processes.
Chemistry lessons help students improve accuracy, understanding, and problem-solving ability. Students learn how to approach equations, analyze reactions, and apply concepts clearly. Over time, they become more confident and comfortable with chemistry topics. My goal is to make chemistry simple, structured, and engaging so students can learn with clarity and confidence.
