About Harry

I have always been fascinated by the invisible forces and reactions that govern our physical world. My educational journey took me through a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, where I developed both theoretical knowledge and hands-on laboratory expertise. Over 8 years, I have translated this experience into engaging, supportive lessons that help students of all levels excel in chemistry. My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, adaptability, and encouragement. I create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, testing ideas, and making mistakes as part of the learning process. I strive to make even complex topics understandable through careful explanation, relatable examples, and structured exercises tailored to each student’s learning style. Beyond the classroom, I stay actively involved in research updates, practical experimentation, and chemistry communities. These experiences enhance my lessons and allow me to provide students with a richer, real-world perspective. Teaching chemistry is deeply rewarding because I witness learners develop critical thinking, confidence, and a genuine appreciation for the subject, helping them build both academic skills and intellectual curiosity.

About the lesson

Chemistry becomes engaging when students can relate microscopic phenomena to observable real-world changes. My lessons focus on atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, stoichiometry, and thermodynamics, always linking theory to practical understanding. I encourage active participation through problem-solving, conceptual discussion, and experimental observation, making abstract ideas tangible and memorable. Each lesson balances theory, practice, and guided inquiry, fostering curiosity, confidence, and independent thinking.

I customize lesson plans for all levels: beginners explore basic chemical principles and lab safety, intermediate learners engage with reaction mechanisms and quantitative analysis, and advanced students refine skills in experimental design, critical reasoning, and problem-solving for exams or projects. Regular feedback, guided practice, and structured explanations help learners internalize concepts and strengthen their analytical skills, while cultivating a sense of excitement for discovery.
