About Chloe
I am a recent graduate from the University of Oxford, where I completed an Integrated Master’s degree in Chemistry (2:1 classification), and I am now starting a post-graduate master's degree in Forensic Science at King's College, London. At A-Level, I received 5 A*s, including in Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry, and I received grade 9s in all my subjects at GCSE, including Maths, English, and all three sciences.

My tutoring style encourages students to think for themselves and reach answers by considering questions from a new perspective. I try to ask the student questions to nudge them in the right direction without giving them the answer, or for longer questions, to break them down into smaller, more approachable steps. I like to establish the fundamentals of the topic with the student first and make sure the basics are fully understood, then do a worked example with the student. I then ask the student to complete a few practice questions to ensure they understand the topic and are comfortable with how to approach it. I've had lots of success with this method, having tutored for a year with EasyA and done intensive exam prep with Passion for Language. My lessons are normally an hour long; I can teach maths from year 7 to A-Level, and chemistry at GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level.
